Jason Macias Joins Liongard as Chief Sales Officer to Drive Global Growth and Strategic Partnerships
Houston, TX – November 08, 2023 – Liongard, the global leader in Configuration Change Detection and Response (CCDR), today announced Jason Macias has been named Chief Sales Officer and head of the revenue team. Macias will report to Liongard CEO Michelle Accardi and will join the team attending IT Nation Connect, November 8-10, 2023, in Orlando, FL.
Macias brings significant executive sales leadership experience to Liongard, notably from his previous roles at OpenText Cybersecurity and Forcepoint. His proven success in growing the business, cultivating strategic partnerships and alliances and driving scalable results makes him a key addition to the executive leadership team as we experience a period of rapid increase of new partners and continued expansion within our base.

In his most recent position as VP of North America Sales at OpenText Cybersecurity, Macias led a 65-member sales team to achieve exceptional results. He was responsible for the overall strategy and vision of the business unit’s US offerings across various routes to market, including MSP, VAR, distribution and strategic alliances. His achievements included a significant surge in trial conversion rates and customer retention, 20%+ YoY annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth, and remarkable ARR growth in the MSP business from $55M to $101M between 2019 and 2022. Before OpenText Cybersecurity, Jason served as Director of North America Sales for Forcepoint.

In his role at Liongard, Macias will be responsible for accelerating growth while maintaining an equal focus on profitability. He will look to create new relationships, ensure seamless engagement with our distribution channel partners, and foster strategic alliances. Macias will oversee a dedicated global team of Regional Account Directors, Regional Account Managers, Partner Success, Support, Education and Implementation teams, who all focus on the growth and success of Liongard’s partners.
Jason holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi.
